Quick notes
New course suggestions from trainees land in the Course Submissions tab with a red badge here and in the header dropdown whenever one is waiting on you. Approving a submission marks it reviewed — turning it into a real, live course (writing the actual teaching hints and inserting it into the course library) is still a deliberate manual step, same as before this panel existed; see PROGRESS.md for why.
Site-wide banner
The "Free for a limited time" banner shown above the header on every page — toggle it off once you start charging, or back on for a future promo. Takes effect immediately; no redeploy needed.

Payments
No payment provider is connected yet — this is scaffolding for when the site takes its
first payment (Stripe or similar). The payments table and its admin-read
policy already exist in the database, so wiring up a real checkout later is a provider
integration, not another schema migration.
